After much planning and preparation we went out over the weekend and filmed our on the street interviews. Initially it took a while to get people talking but as we went through the day the group gained confidence and got more and more interviews in the bag.

(Above) Milky was the main cameraman, shooting simultaneously on a Canon 5D MK2 and a headmounted GoPro Hero 2.
The portrait shoot was interesting because we had to convert the MCP into a photographic studio, set up and direct a series of pictures and pack up in just under 90 minutes.
The guys took it in turns to direct and shoot the portraits and we took a dozen or so of each. Here are some of the finished articles…
These were the photos that the group selected to print out and show the public as part of the upcoming street interviews. The guys photographed lots of poses and facial expressions but chose these precisely because they are as natural and neutral as possible. The guys wore clothes that they actually wear on a normal day on the street –so we can see how the public view them in every day situations.
